We are seeking a Skilled Operative with specific experience in Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) installation, particularly in the installation and handling of LV cables. The successful candidate will support a major BESS project in North Yorkshire, contributing to electrical installation works, site operations, and safe execution of project tasks in line with engineering drawings and site procedures.This is a long-term opportunity for an operative with strong electrical infrastructure experience, ideally within BESS, substations, renewables, or distribution networks.The ideal candidate would be able to Install, terminate, and route LV cables across the BESS site in accordance with project specifications and safety standards. Assist with general electrical installation works, including containment, cable pulling, and equipment placement. Support site supervisors and engineers with day-to-day tasks including preparation of work areas, material handling, and equipment setup. Due to growth, a major player in the Electrical Engineering space is searching for a HV/MV Project Manager to service multiple MV/HV Electrical projects across Ireland. This role is focused on the planning and execution of high voltage and medium voltage projects, requiring 5 years or more of experience across substations, transmission and distribution networks.This role will see you based in our client's West Dublin offices for 2-3 days per week, with travel to site expected around Ireland. Key Responsibilities Manage site access and egress, ensuring all personnel and vehicles comply with site safety procedures.Support daily civil works, working alongside site supervisors and operatives.Safely operate plant machinery including forward tipping dumpers and ride-on rollers (as ticketed).Carry out slinging and signalling duties as required.Assist with general groundworks and civil engineering tasks.Promote high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance on site. Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Management & CfD ComplianceEnsure that project planning and execution meet client specifications, contractual obligations, commissioning requirements .Ensure that project documentation, test results, and certificates align with Contract of Differences (CfD) obligations and grid compliance requirements.Review and verify technical documentation, inspection plans, and testing procedures in line with client expectations.Support commissioning teams with quality assurance, performance verification, and documentation prior to COD (Commercial Operation Date).Liaise with clients, lenders, and certification bodies regarding project QA/QC and compliance reports.Support company ESG and quality standards and supervise local company compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) and client-specific CfD requirements. Health & Safety ManagementMaintain and update HSE documentation for company projects, including risk assessments, method statements, safety plans, and permits.Monitor compliance with H&S policies and procedures across project sites through reports, checklists, and audits.Review and approve subcontractor H&S documentation; ensure competence and training compliance.Prepare and submit HSE reports for management, clients, and regulatory authorities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Ensure environmental compliance in line with CfD sustainability and ESG reporting obligations.
