Quantity Surveyor - Contract (Outside IR35)

Chester / Mold / North Wales

We're looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of a large construction project within the energy sector. This is a site-based contract role, working closely with construction and project management teams to ensure accurate progress measurement, cost control, and subcontractor performance.

What you'll be doing

  • Managing quantities, progress tracking, and cost data across civils work packages
  • Maintaining BOQs and ensuring accurate valuation and certification of subcontractor works
  • Supporting variations, dayworks, and change management activities
  • Monitoring site labour and plant usage to support forecasting and reporting
  • Using project controls systems to provide reliable commercial and progress data
  • Assisting with risk identification, claims support, and commercial problem-solving
  • Supporting feasibility reviews and budget updates based on IFC drawings

What we're looking for

  • Proven Quantity Surveying experience on oil & gas and/or renewable energy projects
  • Strong civils and site-based construction background
  • Comfortable working in structured project environments with multiple stakeholders
