We are seeking a highly experienced Advanced Blade Technician to support a specialised blade repair campaign on Vestas turbines in Japan.

This role requires a senior-level technician capable of delivering complex repairs, including internal and high-category structural work, to the highest OEM and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Perform advanced blade inspection, maintenance, and repair (IMR)
Execute Category 4-5 structural repairs, including complex composite restoration
Carry out internal blade repairs, working within confined environments
Ensure all work complies with standards and quality requirements
Support planning and execution of repair scopes, working closely with site teams
Produce accurate technical reporting and documentation
Maintain strict adherence to HSE standards and GWO protocols

Requirements

Essential

Proven experience working on Vestas turbines, specifically V174-9.5MW platforms
Demonstrable experience with Category 4-5 blade repairs
Strong experience in internal blade repair
Advanced Blade Technician qualification (Vestas certification preferred)
GWO BST 5 (including Sea Survival) - valid
Fluent English
Valid Japanese residence card / full right to work in Japan
