We are seeking an experienced HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Advisor to join our team on a 6-month contract for the mechanical installation phase of a large-scale solar farm project. The role is based full-time on-site and will play a key part in ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a strong safety culture, and supporting operational teams throughout the construction phase.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor day-to-day site activities to ensure compliance with HSE standards, procedures, and legal requirements

  • Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments specific to mechanical installations (e.g., racking systems, trackers, module mounting)

  • Deliver toolbox talks, inductions, and ongoing HSE training to site personnel

  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and non-conformities, and support implementation of corrective actions

  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, and HSE reporting

  • Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and subcontractors to foster a proactive HSE culture

  • Ensure appropriate use of PPE and adherence to safe systems of work

  • Support environmental protection measures and sustainability practices on-site
