ersg is recruiting for a Solar O&M Technician on behalf of a major Solar EPC/O&M contractor. The role covers multiple utility-scale assets across Dublin and surrounding areas.

Experience of working on utility-scale Solar Farms is ideal, as is a good understanding of inverters and general maintenance skills. You should have QQI Level 6, City & Guilds 2391 or an equivalent qualification in Electrical Installations/Engineering.

A good electrical maintenance mindset is required, anyone from a fault-finding background (inverters, PLCs, SCADA, motors etc.) would be considered.

This role will see you oversee their Grid Connection process across the UK and overseas (local talent will manage the relationship with DNOs etc.).Core responsibilities will see you managing the interconnection process throughout the project development lifecycle (through to operations), ensuring the delivery of projects in accordance with local grid standards and code, supporting the development and delivery team throughout the project lifecycle, budgetary control, working with third-party contractors to ensure construction and commissioning of projects.Candidates must be able to demonstrate their ability to manage all internal and external stakeholders (Head of Delivery, Project Managers, Subcontractors (EPC, BoP), TSOs, DNOs etc.)Applicants MUST possess a degree in Power Systems, Electrical Engineering or a similar discipline.
