ersg is leading the search for a Senior Power Plant Controls Engineer with experience in the building and development of an energy analytics platform. Our client, a prominent business within the Renewable Energy industry is adding an analytics platform their business.You will be critical to the business' ability to ensure the greatest yield from their BESS investments. ersg is supporting a Clean Energy Infrastructure business, who are currently building a portfolio of over 1GW in BESS assets in the UK.They are searching for a Senior Asset Manager to ensure the operational efficiency of their investment in Energy Storage projects. EPC Project Manager required for a global IPP specialising in solar and battery storage projects. Candidates will have project management experience delivering solar farm projects, ideally from a developer background with EPC construction experience. BESS project delivery experience is beneficial but not essential.The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing subcontractors and engaging with key stakeholders. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop technical specifications, scopes of work and engineering requirements for primary plant.Provide technical expertise across AIS/GIS switchgear, transformers, reactors, FACTS and grid-stabilisation equipment.Review and assure contractor and consultant designs, ensuring compliance with project standards and client requirements.Support FATs, procurement, manufacturing, installation and commissioning.Manage technical queries, design changes, deviations and engineering risks.Apply Safety by Design, CDM, HAZID/HAZOP and engineering assurance processes.Work closely with Civil, Cable, Protection & Control and Building Services teams.Provide technical support at manufacturing facilities and project sites, including defect and issue resolution.Liaise with contractors, consultants, manufacturers and operational stakeholders.Ideal CandidateThe key requirement is someone with transmission-level primary plant experience, ideally between 33kV to 400kV.They should have:Strong knowledge of AIS/GIS, transformers, reactors and substation equipment.Experience in at least one stage of the asset lifecycle: design, manufacture, FAT, installation, commissioning or asset management.Good understanding of the GB transmission network and substation environment.Experience reviewing technical documentation and providing design assurance/technical approval.Knowledge of relevant British/International standards, CDM and ESQCR.ersg are an equal opportunities employer; we are committed to promoting equality of opportunity for all job applicants. RC Detailer / AutoCAD DetailerLocation: Remote (some office time will be required) Contract Duration: Until late March 2027 Project OverviewWe are currently looking for an experienced RC Detailer / AutoCAD Detailer to support a reinforced concrete design and detailing package.The successful contractor will be responsible for producing accurate General Arrangement (GA) drawings and stub details in AutoCAD, working from the relevant engineering/design information.The role would suit an experienced RC Detailer with a strong background in reinforced concrete, foundations and substructure detailing, particularly those with experience working on pile caps and associated foundation details.Key ResponsibilitiesProduce 2D General Arrangement (GA) drawings using AutoCAD.Produce detailed stub details and associated reinforced concrete detailing.Design/detail 34 pile cap types.Design/detail 34 rock anchor types.Design/detail 14 pad and column types.Interpret structural engineering drawings, sketches, calculations and design information.Ensure drawings accurately reflect the engineering design and are suitable for procurement/construction purposes.Coordinate dimensions, reinforcement, interfaces and connection details across the various foundation types.Incorporate design changes and comments into drawings.Maintain a high level of drawing accuracy and consistency across the package.Work closely with the engineering/design team to resolve detailing queries and ensure drawings are delivered to programme.Required ExperienceProven experience as an RC Detailer, Reinforced Concrete Detailer or Structural CAD Technician.Strong AutoCAD skills, particularly 2D detailing.Previous experience producing GA drawings and construction/detail drawings.Strong understanding of reinforced concrete construction and detailing principles.Experience with foundations, pile caps, pads and columns.Experience with rock anchors / anchoring details would be highly beneficial.Ability to interpret engineering drawings and design information accurately.Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.Desirable ExperiencePrevious experience on civil engineering, infrastructure, tunnelling, foundations or heavy civils projects.Experience producing details for large or complex reinforced concrete foundations.Familiarity with reinforcement detailing standards and construction requirements.Experience working directly from structural engineer's design information. ersg are an equal opportunities employer; we are committed to promoting equality of opportunity for all job applicants.
