Package Manager - Offshore Wind Projects

We are seeking an experienced Package Manager to lead the delivery of a major project package within our offshore wind portfolio. You will play a key role in ensuring safe, high‑quality, and cost‑effective delivery from engineering through to operations.

Your Role

As Package Manager, you will take end‑to‑end responsibility for your assigned package, working closely with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure successful outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing strong HSSE leadership, ensuring safety and environmental standards are met by all team members and contractors
  • Leading and motivating a multidisciplinary project team, fostering a collaborative and transparent working culture
  • Managing the package in line with company values, project management standards, and delegated authority
  • Acting as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders and external contract partners
  • Overseeing engineering and design activities, with a strong focus on safety in design and operability
  • Managing the procurement process, including tendering, supplier selection, and contract negotiation through to contract award
  • Acting as Employer's Representative under the relevant contract conditions
  • Controlling the package budget, risks, and opportunities
  • Ensuring compliance with internal policies and all applicable laws and regulations
  • Sharing and applying lessons learned across projects, and capturing new learnings throughout the package lifecycle
  • Working closely with Operations as the end customer to ensure the package can be safely and efficiently operated and maintained

Your Profile

  • Engineering degree in a relevant discipline (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Ocean, Naval, or similar)
  • Around 10 years of relevant experience in large engineering or infrastructure projects
  • Qualified Engineer or Project Manager with experience leading engineering and/or project teams
  • Background in offshore wind, onshore wind, offshore oil & gas, or similar large‑scale infrastructure projects
  • Proven experience in major contract negotiation and contract management, ideally within offshore wind
  • Strong communicator with a structured, analytical approach and the ability to lead diverse teams
  • Experience working effectively in an international environment
  • Fluent in English (Japanese is desirable but not essential)
