It acts as the key interface between contractor execution and owner's project objectives, with full accountability for safety, schedule, cost, and technical integrity.Reporting ToProject DirectorDirect ReportsNoneInterfacesSite Management, Engineering Management, Permitting Authorities, QA/QC Management, Construction Supervision, EPC Contractor Representatives, Operations TeamKey TasksEnsure full contractor compliance with HSE standards, procedures, and LNG project safety requirements.Oversee the development and implementation of civil, structural, and building design deliverables.Manage interfaces between civil/structural works and mechanical, electrical, and process/LNG systems.Supervise execution of excavation, piling, underground works, concrete structures, steel erection, buildings, roads, paving, and landscaping.Ensure contractor performance meets agreed schedule, cost, and quality targets.Verify compliance with applicable international standards (Eurocodes, DIN) and German regulatory requirements.Coordinate inspections, testing activities, and quality assurance/quality control processes.Manage technical queries, non-conformities, and corrective action processes with contractors.Oversee punch list completion, documentation, and as-built records preparation.Lead handover of civil and structural assets to operations in line with LNG terminal readiness requirements.RequirementsBSc/MSc in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).10-15 years of experience in heavy civil/structural engineering for large EPC industrial or energy projects.Minimum 5 years of experience on LNG terminals or comparable cryogenic/process energy infrastructure.Proven experience as Package Lead, Construction Manager, or similar role delivering civil/structural scopes through full project lifecycle.Strong knowledge of Eurocodes (EN 1990-1999), DIN standards, and relevant German construction regulations.Familiarity with LNG terminal infrastructure and interfaces with process and utility systems.Experience working within German permitting and construction environments.Fluent in German and English.Working ModelOn-site / PresenceHours per Week40 ersg are an equal opportunities employer; we are committed to promoting equality of opportunity for all job applicants.
