ERSG are working with a leading engineering and construction specialist delivering complex, high-value projects across sectors such as pharmaceuticals, industrial, data, and commercial.

We're looking for an Electrical Project Engineer who wants more than just a desk-based role - someone who enjoys being fully involved from design review through to installation, commissioning, and handover.

If you thrive in fast-paced environments and want to be part of projects that push technical boundaries, this is an opportunity to accelerate your career.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting the full lifecycle delivery of electrical packages on major construction projects
  • Reviewing drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to ensure accuracy and buildability
  • Managing RFIs, technical submittals, and engineering trackers
  • Coordinating closely with subcontractors, suppliers, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Identifying design risks, discrepancies, and scope gaps early
  • Monitoring site works and ensuring installations meet quality and project standards
  • Supporting testing, commissioning, and final handover

You'll be right at the centre of delivery - ensuring projects run smoothly from concept to completion.

What We're Looking For

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline)
  • Around 5+ years' experience in an Electrical Project Engineer or similar role in UK or Ireland
  • Background working on commercial, industrial, pharma, healthcare, or large-scale builds
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and power distribution
  • Experience reviewing technical documentation and working in live project environments
  • Organised, proactive, and confident working with multiple stakeholders

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Work on technically complex, high-profile projects
  • Gain exposure across the entire project lifecycle - not just one phase
  • Be part of a collaborative, delivery-focused team environment
  • Strong opportunities for career development and progression
  • Join a company known for delivering projects for global, industry-leading clients

Desirable Experience

  • Exposure to BIM / Revit coordination
  • Electrical trade background
  • Experience working in highly regulated environments (pharma, healthcare, etc.)
