Site Construction Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager / Site Construction Supervisor / Site Engineer to support the delivery of the BESS Hambach 2 project in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.

You will be responsible for coordinating and supervising construction and installation activities on site, ensuring that works are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, within budget and to the required quality standards.

This is a hands-on site-based role suited to a proactive construction professional with strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to health, safety and environmental compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise construction and installation activities on site.
• Monitor and verify that works are completed in accordance with approved construction and execution drawings.
• Ensure compliance with project schedules, budgets, quality standards and health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Participate in regular site and construction meetings with contractors and project stakeholders.
• Monitor, track and document construction progress, providing regular updates to the Project Manager and Site Management Team.
• Coordinate activities with other site supervisors and discipline leads to ensure efficient project execution.
• Identify, document and report defects, non-conformities and contractor/subcontractor performance issues.
• Support the preparation and issuing of non-conformance reports and deficiency notices where required.
• Review and assess contractor variation claims and change requests.
• Assist with the inspection, testing and acceptance of partial and final project deliverables.
• Support the implementation and close-out of corrective actions to ensure project objectives are achieved.
• Maintain accurate site documentation and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

Candidate Requirements

Essential Qualifications

• Degree, diploma or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or a related technical discipline.
• Alternatively, a certified Engineering Technician with relevant site supervision experience will be considered.
