About the Role
A leading engineering services provider in the high-voltage and medium-voltage sector is seeking Electrical Design Engineers at all experience levels. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing, dynamic organisation delivering design, installation, inspection, commissioning, and maintenance services across major renewable and power infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare engineering drawings including substation layouts, elevations, and lightning protection zoning
Produce panel schematic drawings
Design protection and control schemes
Develop equipment specifications
Carry out technical evaluations of equipment proposals
Prepare technical reports
Collaborate effectively with engineering and project teams to deliver high-quality solutions
Requirements
Education & Experience
Degree in Electrical Engineering
Familiarity with HV substation design (10kV-220kV)
Knowledge of utility standards (advantageous but not essential)
Proficiency in EPLAN and AutoCAD 2D (advantageous but not essential)
Full clean driver's licence
