Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a large-scale 100MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in the South East of the UK.

This is a full lifecycle role, responsible for managing the project from procurement through to construction, commissioning, and handover.

Key Responsibilities
-End-to-end project management from procurement to completion
-Management and coordination of subcontractors and suppliers
-Programme, budget, and risk management
-Interface management with OEMs, DNOs, and other stakeholders
-Oversight of HSEQ, quality, and compliance requirements
-Reporting on project progress, milestones, and issues
-Ensuring successful commissioning and handover

Essential Requirements

-Proven BESS project management experience (essential)
-Experience managing large-scale energy or infrastructure projects
-Strong subcontractor and stakeholder management skills

Desirable Experience

-Grid or transmission experience
-Technical knowledge of 132kV systems
-Experience working with Sungrow as the OEM

Commissioning Supervisor

Commissioning Supervisor required for a Global Renewable Energy Turnkey Provider to deliver commissioning on a 120MW+ Solar Farm in Galway, Ireland. Suitable candidates will have strong experience in commissioning on utility-scale solar farms or complex electrical projects. Ideal candidates will have worked on large projects and be confident leading electrical testing, energisation, and handover activities. The role will involve full on-site commissioning coordination, managing subcontractors and commissioning teams, and working closely with the Project Manager and EPC team. This is a fully on-site freelance position, with an ASAP start. This project is expected to run until the end June 2026 with further PV projects available to move onto once energised, all in Ireland.
