A global leader in the semiconductor industry is expanding its operations in Japan and is seeking a Director of Facilities & Construction to lead large-scale capital projects.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for end-to-end delivery of major semiconductor construction programs - from master planning and design through procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.

🔎 We are looking for:

  • Experience in semiconductor / high-tech industrial construction in Japan

  • Proven leadership experience at Director level or equivalent

  • Deep understanding of Japanese building codes, permitting, and regulatory frameworks

  • Strong stakeholder management experience (government, utilities, EPCs, global leadership)

  • Fluency in both Japanese and English

  • Professional work experience in Japan is required

💡 Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading major capital infrastructure projects

  • Overseeing governance, cost control, risk management, and compliance

  • Developing local engineering capabilities and future leaders

  • Representing Japan in global construction alignment forums
