Location: Taichung

This is a hands-on operational management role, responsible for coordinating vessel activities, project requirements, and key stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient, and commercially effective operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and coordination of marine operations in line with project schedules and operational requirements.
  • Manage vessel deployment, scheduling, port activities, logistics, and day-to-day operational matters.
  • Work closely with internal functions including Technical, Procurement, Finance, and HSE to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor operational costs, budgets, vessel performance, and overall resource utilisation.
  • Support the administration and performance management of commercial agreements with vessel owners and external partners.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with clients, vessel owners, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Develop practical operational strategies to support offshore project requirements and changing priorities.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of marine operations procedures, systems, and SOPs.
  • Identify operational issues and coordinate timely solutions to minimise project disruption.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Maritime, Shipping, Marine Engineering, Logistics, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in marine operations, vessel management, shipping, or offshore engineering.
  • Solid understanding of vessel operations, scheduling, mobilisation, and commercial coordination.
  • Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate across multiple functions.
  • Commercial awareness with experience in operational cost management and performance monitoring.
  • Good command of English, with the ability to communicate effectively in meetings and handle business correspondence.
  • Experience within offshore wind, offshore energy, or other specialised marine operations will be highly regarded.

Preferred Experience

  • Background working with offshore support, construction, installation, or other specialised vessels.
  • Experience dealing with vessel chartering or commercial marine agreements.
  • Previous involvement in international projects or multinational organisations.
  • Strong understanding of the operational interface between vessel owners, project teams, and offshore contractors.
