Senior Civil Design Engineer

3x Senior Civil / Structural Engineers | Ad hoc Travel | Outside IR35I am currently on the lookout for 3 Senior Civil/Structural Engineer to lead and deliver technical design across energy infrastructure projects supporting Net Zero goals. You'll work on diverse and complex projects across generation, transmission, distribution, storage, and industrial sectors.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and deliver civil/structural design on a range of energy and infrastructure projectsProduce and review calculations, drawings, specifications, and reportsManage budgets, resources, programmes, and ensure contract compliance (e.g., NEC)Oversee design risk management, CDM compliance, and safety-by-design principlesMentor and support the development of graduate and assistant engineersInterface with clients, contractors, stakeholders, and internal teamsManage and implement BIM/CAD documentation and pre-construction surveysContribute to design reviews, project meetings, and business development activitiesMaintain technical independence and stay current with industry standardsKey SkillsCivil/structural design (steel, concrete, drainage, roads, foundations, refurbishment)Use of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, SolidworksSite investigation, level recording, and setting outRebar detailing, post-tensioned concrete, pile foundation designTemporary Works Design (e.g., access, haul roads, platforms)Contract administration and third-party design checksersg are an equal opportunities employer; we are committed to promoting equality of opportunity for all job applicants. We're looking for the following qualifications, attributes, and skills: Qualification in Civil Engineering or related discipline./Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with ICE or equivalent / or working towards.Demonstrable experience in the water sector.Familiarity with BIM would be desirable.Strong project management and communication skills.Desirable Experience working with UK water utilities (e.g., Thames Water, Welsh Water, Severn Trent).Ideally Knowledge of AMP cycles and regulatory frameworks (e.g., Ofwat).ersg are an equal opportunities employer; we are committed to promoting equality of opportunity for all job applicants.
