Salary: £55,000-£65,000 + Health Cover + Pension
Contract Type: Full-Time

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Hydrographic Surveyor to join a dynamic and growing offshore energy team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate individual to lead technical aspects of hydrographic survey operations, including vessel mobilisation, data acquisition, processing, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead hydrographic survey operations and vessel mobilisation
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of survey equipment and sensors
- Assist vessel master with safety-related matters
- Manage hire kit logistics and equipment demobilisation
- Oversee data handling and liaise with processing teams
- Support technical queries and collaborate with internal teams
- Contribute to project planning, execution, and strategy
- Maintain project documentation and liaise with clients
- Conduct equipment calibrations and verifications
- Perform hydrographic data acquisition and QA
- Attend site meetings and manage project risks
- Promote QHSE standards and continuous improvement
Skills & Experience:
- Proven competence in hydrographic surveying procedures
- Skilled in GNSS, MRU, Multibeam Echosounders, Sidescan Sonars
- Strong communication skills across all levels
- Experience with ASANA project management software
Qualifications:
- 5+ years' experience in a similar role
- Degree in Hydrographic Surveying or a related science-based discipline

- 180 working days annually
- Minimum 120 days offshore
- Up to 60 days onshore with an additional £250/day for any offshore over the 120 days
