  • Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of the project HSE Management Plan

  • Ensure compliance with Swedish Work Environment Authority (Arbetsmiljöverket) regulations and applicable EU directives

  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and safety walks

  • Review and approve risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), and permits to work

  • Monitor high-risk activities including:

    • Lifting operations

    • Working at height

    • Electrical and mechanical installations

    • Confined spaces

    • Hot works

  • Participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking

  • Support emergency preparedness and drills

  • Monitor environmental controls including waste management, spill prevention, noise, and dust

  • Ensure compliance with project environmental management plans and permit conditions

  • Promote sustainable practices aligned with data centre environmental requirements

  • Deliver and support HSE inductions and toolbox talks

  • Actively engage with contractors and site personnel to promote a positive safety culture

  • Support behavioural safety initiatives and safety campaigns

  • Maintain accurate HSE records, reports, and KPIs

  • Prepare weekly/monthly HSE reports for project and client stakeholders

  • Act as a point of contact for HSE matters with contractors, client representatives, and authorities

Lead QS / Commercial Lead required for our client, a global project management consultancy, who is supporting the delivery of a large-scale Multi-billion Euro (€) data centre construction project in Charleroi, BelgiumThe role will take ownership of all the commercial and cost management of major construction packages, acting as a senior client-facing lead. Responsibilities include cost planning, estimating, procurement support, QTOs, as well as leading and mentoring a project cost team.Candidates must have extensive experience in quantity surveying or cost management on large, complex construction projects, ideally within data centres, life sciences, or similar technically demanding projects. A consultancy or client-side background is preferred, along with strong stakeholder management and leadership capability.This is a site-based role, 5 days per week in Belgium.
