Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a large-scale 100MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in the South East of the UK.This is a full lifecycle role, responsible for managing the project from procurement through to construction, commissioning, and handover.Key Responsibilities-End-to-end project management from procurement to completion-Management and coordination of subcontractors and suppliers-Programme, budget, and risk management-Interface management with OEMs, DNOs, and other stakeholders-Oversight of HSEQ, quality, and compliance requirements-Reporting on project progress, milestones, and issues-Ensuring successful commissioning and handoverEssential Requirements-Proven BESS project management experience (essential)-Experience managing large-scale energy or infrastructure projects-Strong subcontractor and stakeholder management skillsDesirable Experience-Grid or transmission experience-Technical knowledge of 132kV systems-Experience working with Sungrow as the OEMersg are an equal opportunities employer; we are committed to promoting equality of opportunity for all job applicants. A C&I Solar Contractor is expanding into the Utility-Scale EPC space.
