🔧 Commissioning Engineer - 380-kV Substation | 📍 On-site | Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany 📅 May 2026 - September 2026
The Project As part of an exciting energy infrastructure project in MV, we are looking for an experienced Commissioning Engineer for the testing and commissioning of electrical installations in the 380-kV range.
Your Responsibilities
- Independent execution of functional tests in assigned 380-kV bays (stand-alone tester)
- Testing and commissioning of electrical installations in compliance with statutory regulations, project specifications, and client requirements
- Ensuring adherence to quality, health & safety, and environmental requirements as well as internal project procedures and document control standards
- Identifying, reporting, and following up on failures, documentation gaps, and deviations from project requirements
- Interface coordination across multiple disciplines, clients, and contractors
- Participation in commissioning, coordination, and handover meetings
- Ensuring all commissioning documentation is properly completed, reviewed, and handed over
Your Profile
- Degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 3 years of experience in testing and commissioning of electrical systems
- Experience with HV substation environments
- Relevant certifications such as EFK, LOTO, Safety Induction or similar are an advantage
- Proficiency with test devices and solid knowledge of EHS rules and regulations
- Fluent German language skills are mandatory, English is a plus
- High attention to detail and a structured, precise working style
