You should have an understanding of three-phase power, testing, inverters, and a good electrical understanding. ersg are working with a leading investor in Renewable Energy assets to hire a BESS-focused Engineer. This role will see the successful candidate join a market-leader to ensure the delivery of their growing BESS portfolio.Key responsibilities include;Being the lead person on technical developments in the Battery industry - supporting internal and external stakholders with technical comprehension of BESS.Identification and selection of BESS, PCS and EMS providers.Support colleagues through acquisition, JVs and project development stages from a technical perspective.Ensure FAT/SATs are completed.Ensuring delivery of projects in accordance with grid compliance.Candidates should have a strong background within BESS (upwards of three years), additionally any training with inverter manufacturers are a bonus. It is critical that candidates have experience of managing contractors such as EPCs.This position is a hybrid-role, based in the client's offices for four days per week.
