We're supporting a major UK infrastructure project and are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer (Temporary Works) to join the delivery team on a site-based role in Suffolk.

This is a senior position combining Temporary Works coordination, engineering delivery and stakeholder management, where you'll take ownership of a section of works and ensure safe, compliant and efficient project execution.

The role is based in Suffolk, primarily site-based with flexibility where appropriate.

What You Will Do

  • Lead Temporary Works coordination and ensure compliance with safety and design standards
  • Develop construction methodologies and support programme delivery
  • Act as a key interface between designers, subcontractors and site teams
  • Identify risks and drive practical engineering solutions
  • Mentor junior engineers and support wider team delivery
  • Support RAMS, planning, documentation and commercial awareness

What We're Looking For

  • Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or similar (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong experience in Temporary Works on major civil/infrastructure projects
  • Background with a Tier 1 contractor or large-scale schemes
  • Degree-qualified (or equivalent experience) in Civil Engineering
  • SMSTS/SSSTS (essential)
  • Strong stakeholder and problem-solving skills
  • Must have UK working rights- Sponsorship not available
