We're supporting a major UK infrastructure project and are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer (Temporary Works) to join the delivery team on a site-based role in Suffolk.
This is a senior position combining Temporary Works coordination, engineering delivery and stakeholder management, where you'll take ownership of a section of works and ensure safe, compliant and efficient project execution.
The role is based in Suffolk, primarily site-based with flexibility where appropriate.
What You Will Do
- Lead Temporary Works coordination and ensure compliance with safety and design standards
- Develop construction methodologies and support programme delivery
- Act as a key interface between designers, subcontractors and site teams
- Identify risks and drive practical engineering solutions
- Mentor junior engineers and support wider team delivery
- Support RAMS, planning, documentation and commercial awareness
What We're Looking For
- Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or similar (or equivalent experience)
- Strong experience in Temporary Works on major civil/infrastructure projects
- Background with a Tier 1 contractor or large-scale schemes
- Degree-qualified (or equivalent experience) in Civil Engineering
- SMSTS/SSSTS (essential)
- Strong stakeholder and problem-solving skills
- Must have UK working rights- Sponsorship not available
