Christophe has worked 25 years in the recruitment industry. Throughout his career, Christophe has held highly strategic positions at Fircroft Engineering Services, including Statutory Board Director for Global Sales & Strategic Accounts, Global Sales Director, and Regional Director overseeing European and CIS operations. His deep understanding of the recruitment industry has enabled him to develop and implement effective business development strategies, forge strong relationships with clients, and drive growth and profitability.

 

He is a commercially astute Board-level Specialist, driving the creation and implementation of global cross-functional organisational strategies, solutions, and transformations in Professional Services. He leverages extensive multicultural/lingual senior leadership experience in fast moving change environments across developed and developing countries. He’s recently joined ersg to take up the new position of Strategic Global Accounts Director. We sat down with him to ask about working with ersg and his hopes for his role and the Renewable Energy industry.

Tell us about your role at ersg.

Initially, for the first six months, my role consists of working alongside six of our global accounts, networking at a senior level with the objective of maximising our presence worldwide. In nurturing these relationships, we not only increase our existing presence with them, but also try to identify additional services that we can offer them alongside our existing services. The key focus is to expand and grow our existing accounts.

The other part of the job is to identify developing accounts, the gaps where we do not currently have a contact but can provide services that fit their needs. I have already begun the process of targeting companies to begin the process of building relationships and offer our services. Further than the first six months, I will assess the outcome and if successful I will start to build a team under me including Strategic Global Account Managers with the aim of significantly expanding the number of accounts we cover.

What do you feel excited / optimistic about in your role here?

The beauty of this role first and foremost is that it is a brand-new role within the business, so we are building the role from scratch and being able to fill the gap created by the business to become more client focused. ersg are currently doing very well in terms of deliverables and the way we organise our vertical markets, but there is currently a gap in our account management. My role fits perfectly within that gap, so I am excited to see the business expand and continue to grow over the coming years.

What is your hope for the future of Renewable Energy?

I am excited to be involved in an industry that is booming right now. It’s the perfect opportunity to be a part of something amazing with regards to Renewable Energy. Everyone wants to invest right now, and the future is looking incredibly bright. In terms of ersg, if we combine our strengths in delivery with strong account management, together with this market growth, things can only be positive for the future.
