Are you an experienced leader in civil engineering delivery looking to take ownership of a major work section on a high‑profile infrastructure project? This opportunity offers the chance to shape performance, lead teams, and drive high standards across safety, quality, and programme delivery.What You'll DoAs a Section Manager, you will take responsibility for maximising efficiency, supporting project delivery, and ensuring your section consistently exceeds expectations. You will lead and develop your team while driving high standards across all operational disciplines. Your responsibilities will include:Leading quality performance through robust inspection, documentation control, and proactive identification of improvements to prevent re‑work.Monitoring programme performance, driving progress, using trackers and metrics, and adopting LEAN initiatives such as Last Planner to mitigate delays.Actively contributing to commercial management by identifying early warnings, evaluating changes, understanding subcontractor scope, and seeking cost‑efficient methods of working.Supporting implementation of BIM Level 2 requirements and promoting digital construction practices.What We Are Looking ForWe're seeking a capable and forward‑thinking Section Manager with a degree in Civil engineering or similar discipline:Strong leadership experience within civil engineering or major infrastructure works.A deep understanding of construction methods, programme management, and technical delivery.Awareness of commercial processes and confidence in contributing to cost control and contract management.Full UK working rightsWhy ApplyThis is a chance to take a leadership role on a significant infrastructure project where you will Influence the successful delivery of a major section of works.
