CAD Technician | 6 Months | Leeds | Onsite We're looking for an experienced CAD Technician with strong skills in Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD to support the delivery of a trenchless crossing design project. You'll work within a Civil 3D and AutoCAD environment to produce detailed technical drawings, including plans, profiles, and general arrangement drawings, ensuring high-quality, accurate outputs that meet project requirements. Key responsibilities Produce detailed plan and vertical section drawings using Civil 3D, including surface profiles from topographical data.Interpret and incorporate utility information into plans and sections.Create shaft general arrangement drawings, illustrating key technical details and design requirements.Collaborate effectively within a Common Data Environment (CDE) to ensure accurate document control and version management.Support engineers and designers in delivering high-quality outputs within project deadlines. Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Project Manager

We are working with a Global EPC for large scale BESS projects occurring at the start of the 2026 year around the Manchester Area. We have a requirement for full project site teams ranging from Project Managers, Site Managers, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Supervisors and Project Engineers.The Project Manager will lead the overall delivery of the BESS project from early design and procurement through to commissioning and handover. This role involves full responsibility for cost, schedule, and quality performance while maintaining the highest safety and environmental standards. The successful candidate will act as the key interface with the client, ensuring that all contractual, technical, and commercial obligations are met.Key Responsibilities:Develop and manage detailed project programmes, budgets, and reporting frameworks.Lead multi-disciplinary teams and oversee subcontractor performance.Drive HSE and quality compliance across all project stages.Manage stakeholder relationships, including clients, suppliers, and grid operators.Oversee change control, risk management, and contract administration. We have a requirement for full project site teams ranging from Project Managers, Site Managers, Civil, Mechanical and Electrical supervisors and Project Engineers.The Project Engineer will play a central role in supporting the successful execution of BESS projects from early construction through commissioning. This position bridges the gap between site operations, engineering design, and project management - ensuring that all technical, quality, and documentation requirements are met throughout the delivery process.Key Responsibilities:Provide technical coordination between design, procurement, and site delivery teams.Review engineering drawings, specifications, and supplier documentation to ensure constructability and compliance.Support planning and scheduling activities, tracking progress against key project milestones.Manage technical documentation, RFIs, and change control processes.Assist with QA/QC inspections, and commissioning preparation.Ensure HSE and quality requirements are embedded across all project phases.Contribute to project reporting, lessons learned, and continuous improvement initiatives.Ideal Background:Degree-qualified in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Energy Engineering (or equivalent experience).2-5 years' experience working on renewable energy, BESS, or power infrastructure projects.Strong understanding of project delivery processes and construction interfaces.Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.Willingness to work site-based in the UKersg are an equal opportunities employer; we are committed to promoting equality of opportunity for all job applicants.
