The Role We are looking for a qualified and experienced SAP to act as an authorised person for managing electrical distributions and switching within a major hyperscaler's data centre environment. This is an on-site based role - further details on duration and location to be discussed.


Your Responsibilities

  • Managing electrical distribution and switching as a Senior Authorised Person
  • Overseeing MV switching and DC construction and commissioning activities
  • Auditing on-site practices against written standards as part of an assurance role
  • Interpreting line drawings and system redundancies to ensure LOTO systems are fully effective and compliant with client standards
  • Communicating complex technical solutions and concepts clearly to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders
  • Managing multiple sources of energy within Data Centre environments
  • Leading and interacting with teams to implement process improvements

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent approved qualification
  • Several years of experience in MV switching and DC construction and commissioning standards and practices
  • Proven background as a Senior Authorised Person managing electrical distribution and switching
  • Strong ability to interpret line drawings and system redundancies
  • Familiarity with LOTO systems and hyperscaler data centre standards
  • Experience managing multiple energy sources in Data Centres
  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills
  • German is a nice-to-have

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance with HSE regulations, promoting a strong safety culture, and supporting safe execution of all site activities.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day HSE support to site management and subcontractors during installation and fit-out works.Ensure compliance with local Danish HSE legislation, project requirements, and company standards.Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and safety walks; identify hazards and implement corrective actions.Review and approve Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and reporting.Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks, and ongoing safety training.Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to HSE procedures.Maintain accurate HSE documentation, records, and reports.Support emergency preparedness and response planning.Promote continuous improvement in health, safety, and environmental performance across the project.RequirementsProven experience as an HSE Advisor on construction or data centre projects (installation/fit-out experience preferred).Strong knowledge of EU/Danish HSE regulations and standards.Relevant HSE qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent).Experience working with multiple subcontractors in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Ability to influence and promote a proactive safety culture on site.Fluent in English (Danish language skills are advantageous but not essential).DesirablePrevious experience on large-scale data centre or mission-critical projects.Membership of a recognised professional HSE body.First Aid / Fire Marshal training.Working ConditionsSite-based role in Fredericia.Standard construction working hours with flexibility as required by project demands.ersg are an equal opportunities employer; we are committed to promoting equality of opportunity for all job applicants.
