Solar & BESS - Project Director

ersg is searching for a Project Director to complete a landmark renewable energy project in Mauritania. This role will see the successful candidate manage all phases of the project lifecycle (2-3 years), including but not limited to;

• Selection of suppliers/subcontractor.
• Delivery of the project in accordance with contractual and regulatory committments. Also, on-time and within budget.
• Act as technical contact to communicate across the EPC, OE, SPV and end-client.
• Ensuring EPC operates within the HSE policy.
• Commissioning and acceptance of the delivery of the project.
• Ensuring plant operates effectively throughout warrenty period.

This role requires a extensive background in the delivery of Solar, BESS and Wind projects in addition to an Electrical Engineering or Electromechanical Degree. The successful candidate will need to speak English (fluently), French is advantageous.

Salary is dependent upon experience but housing, a vehicle, food allowances, and medical insurance is provided on top of the salary.
