Responsibilities

  • Provide general procurement support for the MultiHub programme and its individual projects.
  • Prepare and manage EU-wide tender procedures.
  • Conduct mini-competitions based on framework agreements and qualification systems.
  • Manage procurement procedures below the applicable EU threshold.
  • Provide project management support within the Commercial Workstream.
  • Coordinate schedules and meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress and follow up on actions and deliverables.
  • Prepare, review, distribute and file relevant documents and records.
  • Support contract management activities and the interpretation and application of contractual provisions.
  • Identify and assess contractual risks and opportunities.
  • Coordinate negotiations and organise negotiation meetings.
  • Document negotiation results and monitor agreed actions.

Requirements

  • At least five years of relevant experience in strategic procurement within the infrastructure sector.
  • Experience with comparable tender procedures, infrastructure projects and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • At least two years of proven methodological and organisational experience, particularly in scheduling, progress monitoring, reporting, interface management and negotiation coordination.
  • Practical experience with the German Sector Ordinanc (Sektorenverordnung/SektVO).
  • Practical experience with EU tenders both above and below the applicable procurement thresholds.
  • Business-fluent German and English, including strong negotiation skills in both languages.
  • Experience with a digital tendering and procurement platform; knowledge of Mercell is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Experience with SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.Valid Category B driving licence.
  • Flexibility to attend on-site appointments in Bayreuth, Würzburg and, where required, Lehrte.
