Mechanical Site Technician required for a global engineering, consulting and quality-control firm who is working on a 100MW+ utility-scale solar farm based near Sheffield, United Kingdom. Suitable candidates will have worked on solar farms 20MW and above and confident reading drawings and technical specs. Must hold valid UK site access (CSCS or equivalent) to oversee inbound materials and on-site construction quality. The role will involve daily inspections of ramming/piling, structures, module mounting and cabling, checking works against manufacturer manuals and QA checklists, supporting QA/QC documentation, and flagging any quality issues. English fluency is essential, German and/or Spanish language skills would be a bonus. Applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
