ersg are working with a major investor/developer of Utility-Scale BESS projects across the UK to recruit a Senior Project Manager.

As Senior Project Manager, you will oversee the delivery of utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects from pre-construction through commissioning and handover. Core responsibilities include;

  • Develop and maintain project execution plans.
  • Monitor project scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
  • Identify and manage project risks and opportunities.
  • Lead regular project review meetings and provide progress updates to leadership.
  • Act as the primary interface with clients, EPC contractors, suppliers, consultants, utilities, and regulatory authorities.
  • Coordinate internal engineering, procurement, HSE, construction, commissioning, and commercial teams.
  • Manage contract deliverables and change orders.
  • Review contractor payment applications.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company standards.
  • Monitor contractor HSE performance.

Candidates should have a degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline. Also, demonstrable experience of delivering Utility-Scale BESS projects.

We are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to support the delivery of a major data centre project in Dublin. A renewable energy service provider is looking for a Labourer to support commercial and industrial (C&I) solar projects in Suffolk, starting immediately. You will assist with site set-up: moving materials, working on ladders, supporting the solar installers while following site health and safety procedures. A valid CSCS card and previous construction site experience is required.
