ersg are working with a major investor/developer of Utility-Scale BESS projects across the UK to recruit a Senior Project Manager.

As Senior Project Manager, you will oversee the delivery of utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects from pre-construction through commissioning and handover. Core responsibilities include;

  • Develop and maintain project execution plans.
  • Monitor project scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
  • Identify and manage project risks and opportunities.
  • Lead regular project review meetings and provide progress updates to leadership.
  • Act as the primary interface with clients, EPC contractors, suppliers, consultants, utilities, and regulatory authorities.
  • Coordinate internal engineering, procurement, HSE, construction, commissioning, and commercial teams.
  • Manage contract deliverables and change orders.
  • Review contractor payment applications.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company standards.
  • Monitor contractor HSE performance.

Candidates should have a degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline. Also, demonstrable experience of delivering Utility-Scale BESS projects.

ersg is recruiting for a Solar O&M Technician/Maintenance Engineer on behalf of a major Solar O&M contractor. The role is well-suited to candidates situated in and around Bristol and the South West. This role will see you see you servicing a portfolio of Utility-Scale Solar sites in the South West of England.Candidates should have demonstrable experience of fault-finding and servicing string and central inverters, performing first-line inspection of panels, and general maintenance. Having experience of working on Power Electronics, SMA or Huawei inverters is beneficial. Package on offer is dependent upon experience, and includes a vehicle and fuel card. Additionally, you will also receive private healthcare, pension, standby money for call-outs (1/month).
