Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship & Account Retention

* Act as the main point of contact for the client stakeholders and hiring managers.

* Lead regular service reviews to ensure alignment with the client service level agreement.

* Network within the existing client account to identify new leads across different departments.

* Account related administrative tasks, e.g. payroll, invoices, timesheets, travel, accommodation, etc.

Delivery Management

* Source high-quality talent using our internal database, LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards internal databases and referrals.

* Draft and post engaging job adverts to attract talent.

* Review CV's and conduct telephone screenings to assess candidate suitability and motivation.

* Check right-to-work documentation, qualifications and references.

Offer Management

* Manage the end-to-end interview cycle, preparing both the client and candidates for feedback.

* Handle final offers, package negotiations, and counter-offer situations to ensure high fill rates.

* Act as the escalation point for any service delivery or placement issues.

About you:

* Motivated by hitting delivery targets and earning commission.

* Tenacious and resilient, not easily phased by setbacks and comfortable in high pressure situations.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confident presenting to senior leaders and C-suite stakeholders.

* Ability to manage multiple hiring processes simultaneously under tight deadlines.

* A-Level or Degree qualified (desirable).

* Proven fluency in English; additional languages are a bonus.

* Proficient in Microsoft office.

* Outgoing and friendly personality.

Plant Engineer

Primary Plant Engineering Prepare and develop scope of works, technical specifications and engineering requirements for transmission substation plant equipment.Provide engineering support across a range of primary plant equipment including AIS and GIS switchgear, transformers, reactors, FACTS equipment, grid stabilisation technologies and associated substation systems.Review contractor and consultant designs during project development and delivery phases.Assess technical compliance against project specifications, standards and client requirements.Support the management of technical queries, engineering deviations and design changes.Work collaboratively with other engineering disciplines to ensure successful delivery of integrated substation designs.Design Assurance and Technical Review Review and provide technical approval recommendations for contractor design deliverables.Attend and support Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and review resulting documentation.Support engineering assurance activities throughout procurement, manufacture, installation and commissioning phases.Identify technical risks and support development of practical engineering solutions.Promote best practice, innovation and continuous improvement within the electrical plant discipline.Support the Technical Authority process through design reviews and technical assessments.Safety and Risk Management Apply Safety by Design principles throughout all project phases.Support compliance with CDM Regulations and design risk management processes.Participate in engineering risk reviews, HAZID, HAZOP and other project assurance activities as required.Ensure engineering and operational risks are identified, assessed and appropriately mitigated.Support the production and maintenance of engineering risk documentation and design records.Stakeholder ManagementDevelop and maintain productive working relationships with project teams, contractors, consultants, manufacturers and operational stakeholders.Liaise with engineers from Civil, Cable, Protection & Control and Building Services disciplines.Support efficient coordination between engineering disciplines to achieve project objectives.Communicate technical issues, risks and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.Site and Manufacturing Support Support installation, testing and commissioning activities where required.Attend UK and international manufacturing facilities and project sites as necessary.Provide technical support during issue resolution and defect management activities.Assist site and operational teams to ensure quality installations and minimise risks to network security.Requirements for the Role Business Knowledge Good understanding of the GB transmission network and substation infrastructure.Awareness of interfaces between Plant, Civil, Cable, Protection & Control and Building Services disciplines.Understanding of transmission asset lifecycles and capital project delivery.Appreciation of transmission owner obligations and regulatory requirements.Understanding of engineering governance and project delivery processes. Substation Commissioning Engineer

ersg are searching for a Substation Commissioning Engineer to join a major contractor in the Irish Power, Transmission & Distribution sectors. This role requires someone with experience in commissioning ESB substations, and you will be working across multiple projects across Ireland.The successful candidate will be responsible for;Verifying all primary and secondary substation plant/equipment is suitable for a Declaration of Fitness.Conduct all on-site HV commissioning tests on related plant.Verify communications systems (SCADA, RTU, automation systems) are operational.Lead commissioning on protection and control equipment.Review and ensure comprehensive documentation of all test records.Develop and nurture the update of commissioning procedures and standards.You will have demonstrable experience in the commissioning of ESB HV substations. Qualifications will include a degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, ideally Power Engineering.
