Project Manager

ersg are supporting an international EPC Contractor in their search for a Grid Manager to support their Grid Connection process and adherence to Grid Code on their Renewable Energy projects in the South of Italy.This is a remote working role, with the expectation to travel to site and client meetings regularly.Key responsibilities in this role include;Act as the primary point of contact for all grid connection matters.Manage relationships with TSOs.Execute & Coordinate of grid connection works.Coordinate technical discussions and compliance meetings with grid operators and project stakeholders.Manage adherence to all Grid Code requirements and connection agreements during construction.Develop and maintain technical documentation required for grid compliance.Collaborate with key stakeholders (Engineering, Project Management, SHEQ teams).Manage process across full project lifecycle and adherence to project milestones.This role offers a salary between €70,000 and €90,000 + bonus + expenses + healthcare + benefits.Applicants should have at least five years of Grid Management on Renewable Energy projects, and be able to demonstrate their relationship with Italian Grid Operators.Applicants MUST have an Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification (degree level).ersg are an equal opportunities employer; we are committed to promoting equality of opportunity for all job applicants. Implement and maintain EHS management systems across all project phases.Ensure compliance with the company's Safety Management System and relevant statutory EHS legislation.Coordinate the development of method statements, risk assessments, safe plans of action, and permits to work.Monitor and report on project safety indicators and ensure good safety practices are upheld.Conduct ongoing COSHH assessments and manage hazardous substances.Perform regular site audits and inspections, documenting findings and driving corrective actions.Provide EHS input at site meetings and forums, identifying risks and recommending improvements.Advise management, safety representatives, and employees on EHS matters.Maintain records of statutory inspections for tools, plant, and project activities.Coordinate site inductions, training, and ensure PPE availability.Organise and lead toolbox talks and assist in accident investigations and reporting.Ensure welfare and hygiene facilities are properly managed. ersg are an equal opportunities employer; we are committed to promoting equality of opportunity for all job applicants.
