An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Online Survey Lead to join a pioneering organisation at the forefront of remote and offshore operations. Operating from a state-of-the-art Remote Operations Centre, you will play a critical role in leading survey acquisition activities, ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of data across major offshore projects.

This is a leadership position suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment and enjoys driving technical excellence, team performance, and continuous improvement.

The Role

As Online Survey Lead, you will oversee the day-to-day management of survey acquisition operations, leading shift-based teams and ensuring projects are delivered in line with technical, quality, and operational standards.

You will act as a key link between technical specialists, project teams, and operational stakeholders, ensuring seamless delivery and optimal system performance throughout project lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate live survey acquisition activities from a Remote Operations Centre.
  • Manage and support surveyors and acquisition teams during real-time operations.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with project specifications and QA/QC standards.
  • Monitor survey systems and sensor performance, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
  • Prepare projects for mobilisation, including configuration, validation, and system readiness checks.
  • Collaborate with project managers, technical specialists, and operational teams to ensure successful project delivery.

The successful candidate will bring:

  • Proven experience in offshore survey acquisition and data collection operations.
  • Previous leadership experience managing online survey teams in a live operational environment.
  • Strong understanding of survey systems, sensors, and acquisition workflows.
