Wind Farm Construction Quality Control Manager

Start Date: Immediate

Duration: 8-12 month contract

Location: Steuben County, NY - strong likelihood of extension to other projects in the northeast.

Compensation: Hourly Rate DOE, $160 per diem, company truck and fuel card

I am working with a regional GC on a wind farm construction project in New York State. We are looking for a quality control manager to oversee the wind farm construction, specifically the civil and electrical phases.

Responsibilities:

-Responsible for qa/qc for all civil and electrical activities

- Inspect work during construction to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.

-Ensure the implementation of the project quality plan

-Produce and maintain quality records

-Record and verify contractor and customer change orders.

- Prepare documentation and support regional Sr Quality Manager.

- Oversee QC Firm and subcontractors
