Role Overview

An experienced Site Planner is required to support the successful delivery of a large-scale industrial construction project in Sunderland. The role will focus on developing, managing, and controlling site-based programmes through to project completion, working closely with construction, engineering, and commissioning teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed construction and commissioning programmes

  • Integrate contractor schedules into a master programme

  • Monitor site progress and identify programme risks or delays

  • Produce progress reports, look-ahead schedules, and recovery plans

  • Carry out critical path and impact analysis

  • Support change management and programme updates

  • Attend site meetings and planning reviews

Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience as a Site or Project Planner on large-scale construction or industrial projects

  • Strong knowledge of planning software (e.g. Primavera P6, MS Project)

  • Good understanding of construction sequencing and site delivery

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-contractor environment

  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Right to work in the UK

Desirable

  • Experience on manufacturing, energy, or major capital projects

  • Background in EPC or complex infrastructure projects
