Quantity Surveyor - BESS

Freelance Solar Installers required to work on Commercial and Industrial (C&I) Solar rooftop projects around the Suffolk area. Rooftop solar installation experience is essential, preferably large commercial projects. The client will considers teams/gangs to complete the work. CSCS Cards are a necessity. This is a 9 week contract, with more projects in the pipeline to follow. Outside of IR35. ersg are working with a major investor/developer of Utility-Scale BESS projects across the UK to recruit a Senior Project Manager.As Senior Project Manager, you will oversee the delivery of utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects from pre-construction through commissioning and handover. Core responsibilities include; Develop and maintain project execution plans.Monitor project scope, schedule, budget, and quality.Identify and manage project risks and opportunities.Lead regular project review meetings and provide progress updates to leadership.Act as the primary interface with clients, EPC contractors, suppliers, consultants, utilities, and regulatory authorities.Coordinate internal engineering, procurement, HSE, construction, commissioning, and commercial teams.Manage contract deliverables and change orders.Review contractor payment applications.Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company standards.Monitor contractor HSE performance.Candidates should have a degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline. We're supporting a leading energy client in the search for an experienced Electrical Resident Engineer (VEFK / Verantwortliche Elektrofachkraft) to join a utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project.This is a long-term contract running from July through to March 2027, supporting the project from construction through to energisation and hot commissioning.
