Solar Field Service Engineer - Cambridge

We are urgently looking for a full-time Health & Safety Coordinator (H&S Coordinator) to be incorporated immediately into a solar project in Andalusia. Our client has decided to replace the current coordinator, so we require a rapid mobilisation of the candidate. Scope of the works:PSF (36.4 MWp/MWn) and access roadsPSF (36.4 MWp/MWn) and access roadsSET 0/220 kV and access roads220 kV Private Overhead Line (LAAT) of 16 kmSET 220 kV (private QEE substation) Service requirements:100% of dedication and physical presence at site (Monday to Friday)Experienced person in H&S coordinator role (minimum 5-10 years), with specific knowledge of Andalusian H&S regulations and legal requirements Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):Convene initial and regular meetings with contractors and subcontractors to plan activities and coordinate tasksEnsure all contractors and subcontractors are properly registered in the REA (Registro de Empresas Acreditadas) as per Ley 32/2006 and RD 1.109/07Request and control the subcontractor books for each contractorSupervise and control the contractor's Health & Safety Plan and perform regular site inspectionsMonitor the fulfilment of preventive measures and annotate any incidents or non-compliance in the Incidents Log Book (Libro de Incidencias), following up corrective actionsReport any serious or imminent risks within 24 hours to the Labour Inspectorate and the Project Management TeamEnsure contractors carry out proper preventive training and information to their workers, especially before the execution of critical tasksManage document control and verification of all legal and safety documents from contractors and subcontractorsAttend any inspections by the Labour Inspectorate or local Health & Safety authorities and provide support during audits and inspectionsMaintain a close and proactive communication with the Client regarding all H&S mattersersg are an equal opportunities employer; we are committed to promoting equality of opportunity for all job applicants. ersg is recruiting a Field Service Engineer on behalf of a Multinational Solar specialist. The role is well-suited to candidates situated in and around Edinburgh.Candidates need experience in Solar O&M. Working knowledge of medium voltage and power electronics; inverters (string & central). Applicants with experience in performing in-depth testing, repair and commissioing of inverters are preferred.Package on offer is dependent upon experience, and includes a vehicle and fuel card. Additionally, you will also receive private healthcare, pension, standby money for call-outs (1/month).
