Position: Unterstützungsleistung Projekteinkauf im MultihubCompany: German TSOLocation: Remote / Northern Germany/ BavariaStart Date: September 1, 2026Initial Duration: Until August 31, 2027Extension Option: Until December 31, 2027Workload: Approx. 40 hours/week (1 FTE / 2,080 hours per year)Remote: Predominantly remoteOn-site: Approx. 5 days per monthHourly Rate: To be agreedContract: Freelance ResponsibilitiesProvide general procurement support for the MultiHub programme and its individual projects.Prepare and manage EU-wide tender procedures.Conduct mini-competitions based on framework agreements and qualification systems.Manage procurement procedures below the applicable EU threshold.Provide project management support within the Commercial Workstream.Coordinate schedules and meetings with internal and external stakeholders.Monitor project progress and follow up on actions and deliverables.Prepare, review, distribute and file relevant documents and records.Support contract management activities and the interpretation and application of contractual provisions.Identify and assess contractual risks and opportunities.Coordinate negotiations and organise negotiation meetings.Document negotiation results and monitor agreed actions. RequirementsAt least five years of relevant experience in strategic procurement within the infrastructure sector.Experience with comparable tender procedures, infrastructure projects and relevant regulatory requirements.At least two years of proven methodological and organisational experience, particularly in scheduling, progress monitoring, reporting, interface management and negotiation coordination.Practical experience with the German Sector Ordinanc (Sektorenverordnung/SektVO).Practical experience with EU tenders both above and below the applicable procurement thresholds.Business-fluent German and English, including strong negotiation skills in both languages.Experience with a digital tendering and procurement platform; knowledge of Mercell is advantageous.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.Experience with SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.Valid Category B driving licence.Flexibility to attend on-site appointments in Bayreuth, Würzburg and, where required, Lehrte.ersg are an equal opportunities employer; we are committed to promoting equality of opportunity for all job applicants. Roles & Responsibilities: Lead HV construction delivery, coordinating site teams and subcontractors to ensure safe, compliant and on-programme execution to approved designs and specifications.Act as the technical link between design and construction, managing scopes of work, technical queries, drawings, design changes and submittals while capturing lessons learned and coordinating technical interfaces with clients, DNO's and other key stakeholders.Manage electrical subcontractors, ensuring compliance with programme, quality, safety and contractual requirements.Drive QA/QC activities, overseeing ITPs, quality inspections, observations, installation verification, commissioning support and project handover documentation.Coordinate FATs, material approvals, procurement activities and project meetings, resolving technical issues, mitigating risks and maintaining programme.Conduct site inspections to monitor safety, quality, productivity and compliance with company procedures, client requirements and industry standards.Provide technical leadership, mentor site teams, maintain project records and reports, and drive continuous improvement across safety, quality and project delivery. Consultant Profile / Experience Required: HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering, electrical apprenticeship, or equivalent HV construction experience; degree desirable but not essential.Minimum 5 years' experience delivering HV projects across substations, T&D, renewables, BESS, data centres or industrial sectors.Experience in live construction/project environments up to 400kV.Strong technical knowledge of HV systems and construction, with the ability to interpret drawings, specifications and technical documentation.Experience managing construction quality, including ITPs, QA/QC processes, inspections, FATs and handover documentation.Proven ability to lead subcontractors, site teams and stakeholders to safely deliver projects to programme.Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and make sound technical decisions.Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction management platforms (e.g. ACC, Procore, Interaxo), with a full UK Driving Licence.ersg are an equal opportunities employer; we are committed to promoting equality of opportunity for all job applicants. ersg are searching for a Substation Commissioning Engineer to join a major contractor in the Irish Power, Transmission & Distribution sectors. This role requires someone with experience in commissioning ESB substations, and you will be working across multiple projects across Ireland.The successful candidate will be responsible for;Verifying all primary and secondary substation plant/equipment is suitable for a Declaration of Fitness.Conduct all on-site HV commissioning tests on related plant.Verify communications systems (SCADA, RTU, automation systems) are operational.Lead commissioning on protection and control equipment.Review and ensure comprehensive documentation of all test records.Develop and nurture the update of commissioning procedures and standards.You will have demonstrable experience in the commissioning of ESB HV substations. Qualifications will include a degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, ideally Power Engineering.
