Commissioning Supervisor required for a Global Renewable Energy Turnkey Provider to deliver commissioning on a 120MW+ Solar Farm in Galway, Ireland. Suitable candidates will have strong experience in commissioning on utility-scale solar farms or complex electrical projects. Ideal candidates will have worked on large projects and be confident leading electrical testing, energisation, and handover activities. The role will involve full on-site commissioning coordination, managing subcontractors and commissioning teams, and working closely with the Project Manager and EPC team. This is a fully on-site freelance position, with an ASAP start. This project is expected to run until the end June 2026 with further PV projects available to move onto once energised, all in Ireland. PSCS HSE Manager Scope: Wexford Hub - 230 MW solar farm Location: Wexford Length: 1 year Role overview The PSCS HSE Manager will act as Project Supervisor Construction Stage (PSCS) for a large-scale solar farm project in Wexford, with overall responsibility for managing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance during the construction phase. The role involves coordinating contractors, implementing the Construction Stage Health & Safety Plan, and ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with Irish health and safety legislation, environmental requirements, and project-specific standards. The PSCS HSE Manager will lead site inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations, promote a strong safety culture, and serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory authorities on HSE matters. Health & Safety ComplianceEnsure the project complies with Irish legislation (e.g., Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005).Develop and implement site-specific safety plans, risk assessments, method statements, and work permits.Environmental ManagementMonitor and manage environmental aspects such as waste, noise, dust, and water runoff in accordance with EPA and local authority guidelines.Oversee biodiversity protection measures and proper land reinstatement.Training & InductionsConduct safety inductions for all site workers and visitors.Arrange ongoing toolbox talks and refresher training sessions.Incident & Emergency ManagementLead investigations into accidents, near misses, and environmental incidents.Maintain emergency procedures and ensure readiness of first-aid and firefighting equipment.Auditing & ReportingCarry out routine site inspections and internal audits.Prepare HSE reports for project management and clients, highlighting performance metrics and corrective actions.Contractor and Stakeholder CoordinationLiaise with subcontractors, local authorities, and regulatory bodies.Promote a positive safety culture and ensure all contractors follow HSE standards. ersg are an equal opportunities employer; we are committed to promoting equality of opportunity for all job applicants. ersg is recruiting for a Solar O&M Technician on behalf of a major Solar EPC/O&M contractor. The role covers multiple utility-scale assets across Cork and surrounding areas.Whilst experience of working on utility-scale Solar Farms is a preference, there is scope for training and development.
