Role Overview
An experienced Site Planner is required to support the successful delivery of a large-scale industrial construction project in Sunderland. The role will focus on developing, managing, and controlling site-based programmes through to project completion, working closely with construction, engineering, and commissioning teams.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain detailed construction and commissioning programmes
Integrate contractor schedules into a master programme
Monitor site progress and identify programme risks or delays
Produce progress reports, look-ahead schedules, and recovery plans
Carry out critical path and impact analysis
Support change management and programme updates
Attend site meetings and planning reviews
Experience & Skills
Proven experience as a Site or Project Planner on large-scale construction or industrial projects
Strong knowledge of planning software (e.g. Primavera P6, MS Project)
Good understanding of construction sequencing and site delivery
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-contractor environment
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Right to work in the UK
Desirable
Experience on manufacturing, energy, or major capital projects
Background in EPC or complex infrastructure projects
