Project Development Manager - Solar & BESS

ersg is searching for a Solar/BESS-focused Project Development Manager to join a global investor/developer of Renewable Energy assets. The client is well-capitalised, and are placing a strong focus on building their pipeline from greenfield opportunities to operational assets.

This role will see the successful candidate responsible for;

• Overseeing the full project development lifecycle.
• Identifying suitable sites, conducting feasibility studies, and securing land leases.
• Working with key stakeholders to ensure compliance with local authority permitting processes, and grid connectivity processes.
• Utilising their relationships with landowners and local partners to ensure smooth progression through the pipeline.
• Identifying project budgets, and ensuring delivery of assets to a profitable status.

There is a particular need from the client for a candidate with a strong understanding of the planning process for Utility-Scale Solar & BESS projects.
