Job Title: Document Controller

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Document Controller to support delivery across a range of civils and renewable energy projects. The role will involve overseeing document control systems, ensuring full compliance with project and regulatory requirements, and supporting site teams across multiple locations.

Scope of Works:

  • 33kV cable installations
  • Substation carriage run works
  • Ducting installation
  • Groundworks and associated civils
  • Tarmac and reinstatement works
  • Civils packages across construction and renewable energy projects

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain document control systems across multiple projects
  • Ensure all project documentation complies with regulatory and client requirements
  • Oversee HSE and quality compliance processes in line with project standards
  • Track, control, and distribute drawings, permits, and technical documentation
  • Support site teams with audits, inspections, and compliance reporting
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure documentation accuracy and completeness
  • Maintain up-to-date records for handover and project close-out

Requirements:

  • Proven experience within civils and/or renewable energy projects
  • Strong knowledge of groundworks, ducting, and tarmac-related works
  • Experience in document control and compliance management systems
  • Good understanding of HSE and quality standards within construction environments
  • Strong organisational and communication skills

Details:

  • Start Date: ASAP - 2weeks
  • Contract Length: Minimum 12 months
  • Location: Various sites across Scotland
  • Flexibility required for occasional travel to the Shetland Islands (all expenses covered)
