The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance with HSE regulations, promoting a strong safety culture, and supporting safe execution of all site activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day HSE support to site management and subcontractors during installation and fit-out works.
  • Ensure compliance with local Danish HSE legislation, project requirements, and company standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and safety walks; identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Review and approve Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
  • Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and reporting.
  • Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks, and ongoing safety training.
  • Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to HSE procedures.
  • Maintain accurate HSE documentation, records, and reports.
  • Support emergency preparedness and response planning.
  • Promote continuous improvement in health, safety, and environmental performance across the project.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an HSE Advisor on construction or data centre projects (installation/fit-out experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of EU/Danish HSE regulations and standards.
  • Relevant HSE qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent).
  • Experience working with multiple subcontractors in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to influence and promote a proactive safety culture on site.
  • Fluent in English (Danish language skills are advantageous but not essential).

Desirable

  • Previous experience on large-scale data centre or mission-critical projects.
  • Membership of a recognised professional HSE body.
  • First Aid / Fire Marshal training.

Working Conditions

  • Site-based role in Fredericia.
  • Standard construction working hours with flexibility as required by project demands.
