A major player in the wind industry is seeking an assistant site manager to oversee the onshore site for the pre-assembly, construction, comissioning and handover to the O＆M phase of their upcoming offshore wind project in Kyushu.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Ensure staff safety and motivate personnel.
- Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities.
- Assist with deliveries and ensure inventory controls for audits.
- Track equipment preservation metrics and schedule resource planning.
- Optimize space utilization and report discrepancies.
- Supervise maintenance and preservation tasks for components and materials.
- Recommend solutions for optimization and participate in problem-solving events.
Required Skills/Qualifications
- Japan Licensed Managing Engineer (監理技術者)
One of the following qualifications:
- 1st Class Electric Construction Management Engineer (1級電気工事施工管理技士)
- Professional Engineer of General Supervision of Construction (技術士、建設総合監理 (建設))
- Professional Engineer of Comprehensive Construction Technical Supervision (技術士、建設総合技術監理(鋼構造及びコンクリート構造))
- Professional Engineer of Comprehensive Electrical and Electronic Technology (技術士、電気電子・総合技術監理)
Desired Skills/Qualifications
- Strong management skills
- Organized and structured approach
- Experience in the construction industry in Japan
- Proficiency in both Japanese and English (bilingual)
