Infrastructure Architect

Job Role / Description

Our client require an Infrastructure Architect for an initial 6-month engagement to deliver design specifications for multiple internal projects across the group. This will include Public Cloud and on-premises greenfield designs, design updates, and supporting delivery.
Core skills must include
Minimum of five years/relevant or equivalent of hands-on infrastructure architecture/design and implementation experience
Strong Windows Server 2008/R2, 2012/R2, 2016, 2019 server background on both physical and virtual (VMware/Hyper V) infrastructure
Active Directory / Group Policy
Experience with networking technologies, firewalls, switches, routers / VLan's / DNS / DHCP
Firewalls (Checkpoint an advantage)
Load Balancing (Citrix NetScaler an advantage)
VPN / VPN profiles
MS-Azure (General)
Azure AD Proxy
Azure IaaS / PaaS components
Azure Storage / Networking
Hyper-V (2016 / 2019)
Office 365 / Conditional Access / Azure Active Directory / Azure MFA
Ability to take a flexible approach to design with limited defined as is architecture and NFR's
Ability to ensure architecture designs follow internal standards
Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments
Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation and negotiation
Excellent communications skills, including the ability to present information
Excellent analytical and technical skills
Excellent understanding of Agile delivery frameworks
