A local wind developer is currently looking for an Offshore Civil Engineer to become a key member of the design team for offshore projects.
Job Description:
- Lead civil engineering and foundation design efforts for new offshore wind power projects, ensuring structural integrity and reliability.
- Develop essential technical documents, public auction materials, and more to support project development and execution.
- Engage in technical meetings with foundation manufacturers, facilitating proposal clarification and alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the design of civil structures and foundations for offshore wind power projects, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Prepare comprehensive technical documents and materials that are vital for project development, regulatory compliance, and public auctions.
- Facilitate productive technical meetings with foundation manufacturers to ensure alignment and clarity in project proposals.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in design and construction-related work, particularly in port and offshore structures, and large plants.
- A background in civil engineering, providing the foundational knowledge necessary for this role.
- An English TOEIC score of 600 or above and strong English speaking skill.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in construction planning and construction management for offshore civil engineering and offshore construction.
- Holding a professional certificate in construction or machinery would be a significant advantage in this role.
