A leading foreign solar developer is in search of a dynamic Chief Electrical Engineer (CEE) to spearhead their Motegi Project situated in Machida, Tochigi Prefecture. The CEE will assume a pivotal role in ensuring the plant's optimal performance, regulatory compliance, and fostering positive relationships with stakeholders.
Role and Responsibiltities:
- Ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and standards for power plant operation.
- Daily check power generation performance and promptly report issues.
- Oversee O&M contractors, ensuring compliance with regulations and contractual terms.
- Review and approve maintenance plans, repairs, and refurbishments.
- Investigate and report on the impact of weather events on equipment.
- Identify and manage risks, ensuring effective preventive measures.
- Provide information for insurance and equipment warranty claims.
- Review and store reports, approve documents, and maintain accurate records.
- Share best practices, conduct audits for service quality improvement.
- Perform site visits for technical reviews, especially for potential acquisitions.
Requirements:
- Class 2 Chief Electrical Engineer
- Native level fluency in Japanese
- Previous electrical engineering experience on major power plant projects
