A leading Japanese engineering company is in search of a dynamic individual to assume the role of Wind Service Manager in Tokyo. The ideal candidate should be a talented wind professional with a strong background in service, possessing expertise in leading teams, managing contracts, and ensuring the peak performance of wind farms.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage wind service operations across Japan.
  • Ensure the timely and efficient execution of wind turbine maintenance and service activities.
  • Lead a dedicated team of wind service technicians and engineers.
  • Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the service team.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client communications and issue resolution.
  • Conduct regular site visits to wind farms for inspections, troubleshooting, and performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with on-site teams to optimize wind turbine performance and reliability.
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of wind engineering to provide technical guidance and support to the service team.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices in wind energy.
  • Analyze performance data from wind turbines to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
  • Implement data-driven strategies to enhance overall wind farm efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to develop and manage budgets for wind service operations.
  • Monitor expenses and ensure cost-effective service delivery.
  • Ensure that all service activities comply with relevant safety regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in wind engineering, with a focus on wind turbine service and maintenance.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Fluency in Japanese is a must.
  • Fluent English is highly desirable for effective communication with clients and wind turbine manufacturers.
