The Challenge
Ørsted's Hornsea Offshore Wind Farm operated under a complex regulatory and consenting framework. The project was required to maintain strict compliance with its Development Consent Order (DCO), marine licensing conditions and environmental requirements throughout delivery.
The Solution
ERSG placed an experienced Environment & Consents Manager to support Ørsted's ongoing project delivery. The role bridged environmental strategy, regulatory compliance and project execution - maintaining compliance with the DCO, coordinating with regulatory bodies, managing stakeholder engagement and ensuring all consent conditions and environmental obligations tracked the project schedule and budget.
The Outcome
Hornsea maintained full compliance with its DCO and all marine licensing conditions. Consent conditions discharged on time without gaps or rework. Regulatory engagement remained constructive throughout the project phase. Environmental and engineering activities stayed aligned across all disciplines and external requirements.
