Environmental Project Manager

An opportunity is available for an experienced Environmental Project Manager to lead environmental workstreams on a major renewable energy project. The successful candidate will coordinate environmental activities across the project lifecycle, working closely with internal teams, consultants and regulatory stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead environmental workstreams and project deliverables
• Coordinate EIA, environmental assessment and consenting activities
• Manage environmental consultants and specialist contractors
• Oversee environmental risks, commitments and mitigation measures
• Support planning, permitting and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate environmental reporting and project documentation
• Work closely with engineering, construction and project management teams
• Provide regular updates on environmental progress and compliance

Requirements

• Proven experience in environmental project management
• Experience with EIA, environmental consents or permitting
• Background in major infrastructure, energy or renewables
• Strong stakeholder and contractor management experience
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
