BESS Asset Manager

ersg is supporting a Renewable Energy fund to support their growth.They are searching for an Asset Manager to ensure the operational efficiency of their investment in Energy Storage projects. This role will see the successful candidate overseeing the operational efficiency of multiple assets across the UK & Europe.You will need to demonstrate your technical acumen, understanding the core components of an Energy Storage System, whilst having strong experience in working with optimisers, and have the hunger to deliver a suitable yield from various assets.This is a hybrid role (2 days per week in Central London), working alongside the Senior Leadership Team, providing critical exposure for development.The successful candidate will have a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.Candidates MUST have the Right to Work in the United Kingdom; Sponsorship is NOT available. ersg are an equal opportunities employer; we are committed to promoting equality of opportunity for all job applicants. ersg are working with a leading investor in Renewable Energy assets to hire a BESS-focused Project Engineer. This role will see the successful candidate join a market-leader to ensure the delivery of their growing BESS portfolio.Key responsibilities include;Being the lead person on technical developments in the Battery industry - supporting internal and external stakholders with technical comprehension of BESS.Identification and selection of BESS, PCS and EMS providers.Support colleagues through acquisition, JVs and project development stages from a technical perspective.Ensure FAT/SATs are completed.Ensuring delivery of projects in accordance with grid compliance.Candidates should have a strong background within BESS (upwards of three years), additionally any training with inverter manufacturers are a bonus. We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support the delivery of a large-scale UK solar farm project. Candidates must have a strong solar background and experience coordinating contractors, monitoring project progress, managing risks, and ensuring compliance with UK regulations and health & safety standards. This role requires candidates to be available to work in Cirencester 3-4 days per week. This is for a 6 Month contract, outside of IR35.
