Environmental Advisor

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Advisor to support a major infrastructure project in the UK. You will provide day-to-day environmental support to the project team, helping to ensure environmental requirements are effectively managed throughout project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide environmental advice to project and construction teams
• Monitor compliance with environmental legislation, permits and project commitments
• Support the implementation of the Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP)
• Undertake site inspections and environmental monitoring
• Support environmental audits, reporting and corrective actions
• Liaise with contractors, consultants and relevant stakeholders
• Identify environmental risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures

Requirements

• Previous experience in an Environmental Advisor or similar role
• Experience within construction, infrastructure, energy or utilities
• Good understanding of environmental legislation and compliance
• Experience with CEMP, inspections and environmental monitoring
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
